T-3 days!!!!! & Bachelorette bliss!

For the last two weekends Ive been celebrating my bachelorette. My maid of honor jessia did an outstanding job in planning it all. last weekend we went to the Bahamas for two days. I LOVED IT! soooooooo relaxing ,and fun with the girls. i had such an amazing time in the Bahamas with jess,michi,mel,Caro,Janet,Milli,Sabri and Monica that i wish i was back there. Then this past weekend i had the "real" bachelorette. yes! we went to La bares... at first i didn't want the stripper kinda of thing but when we got to the strip club it was sooooooooooo much fun. once again my friends are amazing ... they are a blessing. this time around Arelene,Nati,Natalie,Janet,Jess,Sabri,and Max were able to celebrate with me. i had a fantastic time ,and it wasn't at all raunchy.

The boys wen to Vegas. they wanted the whole Vegas experience like the "hangover" they just did what boys to ,and that was alright with me. as i was having my fun johnny was having his fun too.

We have such amazing group of friends that they are truly blessings in my life.


soooooooooooooooooooo.... we are 3 days away from the Biggest moment in my life. My nerves are definitely started to kick in. Tropical Storm is on its way ,and I'm hoping it clears up by friday. oh pleeeeeeeeease let the sunshine ,and the moon brighten up the sky. our location is putting up a tent for our ceremony as it was suppose to be in open air. almost everything is in place just have to set up the favors ,and think of where to sit everyone. all the girls are ready and the boys are ready too.

Tomorrow off from work for a week. i cant wait i need this break.

Sucker For BootS!!!

Miami weather can be pretty unpredictable in the winter time ,and spring. But in the summer time you know for 3 months straight its going be blazing hot!!! thats where my boots come in. no matter how insane the weather can get you will always catch me in some type of boots. my current obssession is my Cowboy brown boots that i bought in Wet Seal about a year ago. i can put those puppies with any outfit. i cant help myself! Now winter is on its way and i cannot wait to take out my knee high boots. Im going to rock them like i havent worn them since last december. Today i received a wonderful email from Charlotte Russe promoting their Boots ,and of course i to take a peek. Well , I WANT THEM ALL! to be exact three of them i would love to own. i will own a new pair of boots this winter ,and they shall become my obssesion. in the mean time i will just dream shop.

Dear Money Gods!!!

OK!.... so our wedding has been an amazing event to plan ,and we are almost coming down to the wire. However ,its also been hard not to shop for non -wedding stuff in the last couple of months. My heart hasn't been able to shop for pleasure since ( well its been too dam long) . the other day as i was making my daily blog visits i came across these shoes. when i saw the them my heart just started to weep,and it continues weeping. so for now i say see you later to the shoes that have stolen my heart ,and continue with wedding shopping.

The time is almost near and it still hasn't hit me yet. I'm not in denial ... I'm just enjoying all the planning ,and being preoccupied with it. For the next two weeks its finalizing ,and preparing for the big day. we have our marriage license,and we have our outfits completed. more and more each day I'm looking at marriage as a whole new chapter in my life (even if we have been living together for the past year). Its a new Yasi with new values , different priorities ,and a whole new last name. Yes! I'm changing my last name ,and what a challenge has that been to come to that conclusion. Ive been grieving the change of my last name since the day i said yes!. its not that i do not want to be Mrs. Plata... its just a Huge change. and a part of me thought that my individuality was gone out the window once i changed it. But its not... i don't plan to change myself ... i just plan to change my last name,and my title as a wife not a Girlfriend.

Mrs. Plata is not only going to incorporate my new life ,but my old life too. Ive come to the idea that Plata is just a last name. it makes johnny and i a family. the beginning of our own family. And I'm alright with that. I'll still be me , act the same way, talk the same way, and even Bitch the same way. I'm excited to change my last name ,and begin this new chapter. A new life with the man Ive always dreamed about ,and has been my rock, best friend ,lover, and sanity since the day we met.

The Venue has been picked....the Date has been set.... and the Save-the-Dates are out!!!!

It's been a long time since I've written in my blog ,and I really have missed writing. a lot of things have happened since the last time i wrote.

I finalized my guest list. which took me fooooooooreveR!!!

My save the date have been designed ( by johnny the fiance) ,and were sent out to my guest's.

I launched my company ,and its going great.

Everything is working out beautifully. My wedding plans are going accordingly. I'm doing things step by step in order to decrease the stress levels ,and worries. weddings are very detailed,and i am my worst client. i always tell people that the worst client i can ever have is myself. I've changed my wedding dress about 3 times, i cannot make up my mind at all at things. like my fiance says I'm a flip flopper. one day i say i want orchids as my flowers the next day i say why waste on flowers if they are going to die anyways. but that's how I'll learn to deal with a flip flopper if i ever encounter one as a client.

I'm currently working with a bride (not myself) ,and its going great. she wants me to help her for rehearsals ,and the day of. I'm grateful that I'm working with such a great bride ,and its an honor that she is allowing me to help her the day of the wedding.

Well ,I've been late on my post's but its never to late to write.

Venue Check!

Well we picked our Venue ,and I'm happy to say that its our DREAM venue. we found a company called FETES & Events that creates packages that include EVERYTHING! ( includes; color linens,food,liquor, center pieces,DJ,cake,photographer). this has relieved so much stress from everything. now i can plan calmly ,and start paying attention to details. the girls dresses , guys outfit,invitations,guest list ( have to cut out many people from my list)but we'll see how it goes. the planning starts now ,and I'm counting down the days. SO in love with life!
